I tell you, I came close to about six heart-attacks before this fight happened and Nellie Boord should be an investigator. I would run downstairs to fill balloons. I would run upstairs to make sure my kids were eating lunch and to see how much time I had to set up while keeping balloons hidden. On each three different trips, this is what Nellie said to me:
"Why are you carrying scissors?"
"Why are you all sweaty?
"Why are you sneaking around!"
The last comment almost caused me to pass out with panic. The final kicker was when Nellie's sister and brother-in-law came walking up the driveway while I am putting filled balloons in a water cooler. From a distance, they looked just like Jerry's brother-in-law Jimmy and his wife Elaine! I just knew that I was dead meat when I saw them. Thankfully, my heart returned to my chest when they got closer. Otherwise, the surprise went off swimmingly!
